"Inside Out 2," released in 2024, continues the journey of Riley as she navigates her teenage years. Now 16, Riley faces new emotional challenges related to high school, relationships, and identity. As in the first film, Joy and Sadness are central characters, but this time they must adapt to Riley's changing needs and emotions. The plot centers on a new upheaval in Riley’s life that disrupts her emotional balance. Joy and Sadness team up with the new emotions to help Riley cope with these changes, learning more about the complexity of growing up and the importance of all emotions in shaping a balanced self.
